The Consulate General of Peru is pleased to inform the Peruvian Community that the second round of general elections to elect the President and Vice Presidents of the Republic for the period 2016-2021, will take place on Sunday June 5, 2016.
Compatriots who have a valid ID with an address Australia are invited to exercise their right to choose, while fulfilling a civic duty.
Voting hours, as provided by the National Office of Electoral Processes – ONPE will be 8 am to 4 pm (08:00 hours to 16:00 hours).

Peruvian citizens who have made the change of address on their ID before closing the electoral roll (ie, that your ID registers an address in Australia) may vote one June 5th 2016. It is important that in exercising the right to vote the citizen must present the original ID.
